Fishmangifts.com began in 1998. Barrie Yarbrough had been collecting the The Herd by Marty Sculpture for a number of years. Her husband Troy was no stranger to collecting either: he had been collecting rock and roll memorabilia since high school.In 1997, Troy began to learn how to create websites and published a popular internet stop for music collectors. When traveling, Troy and Barrie would often visit local gift shops, seeking additions for Barrie's elephant collection. In 1998, the couple decided to create a website for The Herd so that fellow collectors around the country could find items they were looking for. Fishmangifts.com was born and became a huge success during the first Christmas season in 1998. Popular collectibles such as Just the Right Shoe and others were soon added, and Fishmangifts.com quickly gained loyal customers and frequent visitors worldwide. Today, many years later Fishmangifts.com continues to provide fine collectibles for collectors all over the world. This website has had many changes over the years and some product lines have come and gone. But Troy and Barrie still treat customers like family and always understand the passion that collectors have for the things that they love. PS..Many people ask where the name fishmangifts stems from. Troy has been employed in the aquarium industry for over 21 years. Troy and Barrie have owned and operated pet shops, aquariums services, and other pet related services for many years.
